With more than 30 years leading Information Technology systems and large-scale transformations across federal and commercial markets, Alan delivers enterprise-level strategy and execution tailored to lower and middle-market (LMM) businesses.
Through his H-Theory services, Alan serves as a contracted/fractional operator for LMM companies and large private equity firms. He specializes in creating rapid, measurable value for founder-, family-, and management-owned businesses by aligning talent, installing performance-driven accountability systems, and building sustainable, customer-centric operations that drive revenue growth and long-term scalability.
His career highlights include more than a decade at IBM in senior leadership roles as Lead Account Partner and Supply Chain Delivery Leader for the Internet of Things (IoT) division. There he expanded client portfolios, drove revenue growth, and pioneered the groundbreaking Smarter Buildings IoT solutions for the General Services Administration and Carnegie Mellon University.
Internationally, Alan served as Delivery Executive in São Paulo, Brazil, overseeing a $500M Smart Cities program supporting the Olympics and World Cup. Earlier, as Director at Lockheed Martin, he restored underperforming multimillion-dollar portfolios and accelerated growth in Joint Theater Command & Control Systems, Transportation, and Logistics.
Alan is an Advisory Board Member of the Center for Connected Multimodal Mobility. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, completed executive training at Harvard Business School, and is a Certified Program Manager.
