With a history of securing major government and commercial contracts, Matt has spearheaded strategic initiatives that drive business growth, generate recurring revenue, optimize financial performance, and pioneer cybersecurity advancements for federal agencies and global enterprises.
As a decorated U.S. Air Force combat veteran, Matthias has supported critical humanitarian and combat missions across Panama, the Persian Gulf, Africa, Bosnia, South America, and Southwest Asia. His leadership has been instrumental in securing national security assets and advancing artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), cyber resilience, risk mitigation, and IT governance. Matt has directed cybersecurity, infrastructure, and governance initiatives across the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Department of Justice, ensuring mission-critical systems remain secure against evolving threats.
A recognized thought leader in cybersecurity policy and risk quantification, Matthias is a member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation-InfraGard National Members Alliance and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Industrial Control Systems Joint Working Group.
His expertise spans cyber risk quantification, AI/ML in cyber defense, compliance frameworks including the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, the National Institute of Standards and Technology cybersecurity framework, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, the Federal Information Security Modernization Act, and the Risk Management Framework, as well as a national security strategy.
