Chris brings over 30 years of global executive experience, having served as Chief People Officer for Volvo Cars Americas, Lafarge North America, and Alstom (now GE Vernova). Throughout his corporate career, he held global responsibilities across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa, leading human capital strategy for large, capital-intensive projects, organizational expansions, and complex transformation initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He has led the HR workstream on major mergers and acquisitions worldwide, with deal sizes ranging from $25 million to $13 billion. Chris has also served as the HR leader for multiple industrial and technology startups, including Volvo Cars South Carolina Assembly and its Silicon Valley Tech Center (focused on electrification, autonomous vehicles, and digital technologies), Alstom\u2019s nuclear turbine and turbine regeneration facilities, and Lafarge\u2019s large-scale wallboard and industrial manufacturing operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before joining Equitas to lead its Education and Learning segment, Chris founded and built a boutique coaching and advisory firm, advising and developing leaders across more than 50 Fortune 1000 companies in North America and Europe. His breadth of experience provides deep insight into executive leadership, organizational dynamics, and how global enterprises successfully navigate significant change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Born in Canada, Chris emigrated to the United States as a college student and later spent three years living in France while working on the ground in more than 22 countries. He brings a truly global perspective and is highly adept at working across cultures, time zones, and complex international environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chris earned his MBA from Northwestern University\u2019s Kellogg School of Management and holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Administration from Kettering University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
